Younona Babayan

Chief of Marketing

I am Younona Babayan, currently the Chief of Marketing at Ratio+ Protein Snacks and an 11th grade student at the Herbert Hoover High School and I am in the Business Entrepreneurship Virtual Enterprise program. I joined the business program at Hoover in 10th grade and I joined the VE program this year because my mom owns a fairly new business, and I wanted to gain the knowledge to help her grow her business. In my role, I am responsible for developing marketing objectives, researching and adjusting the product line, conducting meetings, etc., and I have enjoyed designing Ratio+'s booth for the winter banner competition for the San Diego Tradeshow. Through the VE program I have unleashed my creative side that allows me to think outside the box for marketing ideas. Outside of VE, I enjoy shopping, Latin dancing, and watching movies.

I enjoy combining creativity with data-driven decision-making to strengthen our outreach and bring more visibility to our company. I’m committed to helping Ratio+ grow by leading with professionalism, innovation, and a clear understanding of our target market.

Martin Petrosian

Tech & Design

Hello, my name is Martin Petrosian and I am an employee for Ratio+ protein snacks. I am a part of technology and design and my role is the design manager and I am in charge of designing new products or upcoming events at Ratio+. My expectations when I joined the VE firm was to be a hard and diligent worker for our company, and to make our company look professional in what I am assigned to do. These compare to my experiences because in class, I get work done, and I am a hard worker, and an exemplary student to others in my class. One project that I am proud of that I have accomplished at Ratio+ is designing snack products for our company, and what the theme of our snack bags would look like. From the VE firm I have learned about how to act and work in a serious job manner, and I have learned what kind of work takes place in a business that sells products. Outside of VE, my hobbies are interior designing homes, going to the gym and boxing, or practicing for my permit, or doing homework.

Anthony Ramos

IT Designer

I am Anthony Ramos, an IT Designer at Ratio+ and a 12th-grade student in the Virtual Enterprise class. I joined the VE program in August 2025 because I wanted real business experience and a chance to work in an environment that feels more like an actual job. In my role, I design digital materials. One project I enjoyed was creating and improving the images we use for our business. Being part of Ratio+ showed me how important communication and teamwork are. I expected VE to feel like a regular class, but it’s more hands-on and pushed me to stay organized and think about how my work affects the whole team. One accomplishment I’m proud of is designing the images that helped our business look more professional. It taught me how to manage deadlines, stay creative, and make sure my designs fit the overall brand. That project made me more confident in my abilities and showed me I can handle real responsibilities. Overall, VE has helped me grow both academically and professionally. It improved my communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills, and it gave me real workplace experience that will help me with future jobs and decisions about my career.
